I watched as the simulative sky cast a shade over my golden bod. The light that stung through the skies stung my perfect orbs like no other. I was a delicate being, coming from places not so harsh as this. I do not even realize how I got here. Shuffling underneath the ruins I sheltered myself from the suns attack. Lifting my head I called out to anyone that was near enough to answer me, I did not want to be alone. I turned, dleving deeper into the ruins, searching for a nice place to rest. Looking around I spoke softly to myself... I suis détaché. Ah french, my native tongue. How I missed the warm sunlight on the Riviera, drinking the cleanest waters of the earth. It was beautiful there, all of the trees waved in softly blowing winds. This was was so desolate to me. Everything was broken, even the animals were broken. Where exactly was I, and how could I get out? Humming under my breath I came to a hollow stone, open at the bottom, and tall to the skies... Si gros. I was beginning to speak to myself, and this was not good. I knew very how to speak thisplaces language, but my accent damaged the meaning, and I was far more comfortable in my french cloak. Laughing softly I headed on, eyes widened in consistent amazement...

The sun cast great rays of light onto the gentle hide of the ebony stag. He moved silently into the ruins, where often times he had gone to think for himself and be away from all the mishaps and misfortunes of regular life. Odysseus wasn't fond of the place, but of a particular spot. He scrambled to a higher place, where two great pillars could still be seen, their alabastor-white marble still shining in the sun. He paused and turned, looking out across Atlantis, where he remained, one hock rested lightly, between the two great pillars...

As I walked along the winds began to change, bringing to me a scent, a scent of another. Excited I began to pace forward quickly, looking around as my hooves plundered throught the odd soils the formed here. Banner waving around my body she I whinnied loudly. Coming to two large structures I spotted a dark form standing between the tops of them. Shaking my head in excitement I called to the horse, giggles bubbling sweetly from my maw...Bonjour, will vous venir à moi? Eyes twinkling I danced around, happy that I was not alone...

Odysseus was not fond of being with companions, although his orbs caught the sight of the bouncing mare. He grinned, realizing from her tongue that she was not native. He understood her greeting, but the quesstion was alien. Trying to sound polite, he questioned: Madame, I do not understand your language, do you not know any other? He glanced at her, taking in her graceful form silently.

I stopped bouncing like a imbécile. If my Dam could see me know, she would weep. This, she would say, is why I have not been claimed by a great French brute, such as Francois. So silly was that brute, always checking to make sure his mane flowed the right way. A true Mignon he was. Trying to find my voice, I spoke, my heavy accent embarrassing me. I am, how do you say, sorry. I am not extremely fluent in your Language. I said "Ello, would you please come down to me? I hope I have not been rude, and confused you, Monsieur Giggling nervously I bowed my head, keeping my eyes from his handsome face.

The great lusitano grinned once more, relieved he would not have to look an idiot to the fair maiden. With a gentle leap he exited his post and jogged down to her, careful of the fallen debris. He smiled, and with a large sweep of his head, he bowed to her, I am known as Odysseus to these lands, may I ask what such a fine madame's blessing may be?He was overwhelmed by her beauty, smiling a little too heavily as he returned his position near her, eyes soft and concentrated.

I watched as he came down to me, black coat glistening. How handsome he was, so fancy even Francois would be jealous. Batting me long lashes and flipping my mane out of my face I giggled once more. Odysseus, a fine name. Opening my mouth I spoke witha flirting tone. I am please to meet you Odysseus. I am Brielle, I do not come from here. I was eager for anothers company. Would you happen to feel the same way? Laughing I tilted my head to the side, eyes teasing him with every closing lid. I awaited his response with a heartened sigh. It was possible that he would make even her méticuleux Dam would approve.

Keeping a gentle tone, he responded smoothly, Perhaps, madame. I come here often to solitary needs, but 'tis been a long while since such a creature as your fine self has conversed with my being. He smiled silently, his warm, mocha eyes moving over her, then past, where the rest of the land was. He returned his gaze to the beauty before him. Are you always this cheerful? His question remained in his head a moment as he smiled upon her, his long forelock shading his eyes.

I giggled once more, still keeping his gaze. I was being a terrible flirt. Reaching out to bump bump his shoulder with my muzzle I answered him laughingly. Pourquoi bien sûr, why of course. Is it not a good thing to be a continuously joyeux with oneself? Shaking my head in honest mockery I pranced around to his other side. Gazing at the lands beyond I smiled. If you come here to be solitary, then that is what you should be doing. One must always finish what he set out for. My accent still affecting my speech I shook my tassle over my large eyes, cheek arched his way, awaiting his answer.

Knowing if he said the wrong thing, she would be high-tailing it out of his presense, he thought before replying, My dear, solitary confinement is not always so pleasant, one could become crazed... He smirked, pondering why she was acting so formal around him. His ears twitched as she ran her muzzle against him briefly, unsure of what the gesture meant...

Giving him a half smile I turned my face to his. My heart was beginning to beat for him, and I knew nothing of love. Shaking the sensless feeling from my scattered mind I returned to his side, speaking coyly. I see you are a good at fishing your way out of situations you do not like. Well, we shall see What I can do. So, Odysseus, how long have you wandered around... around wherever we are? I decided that I liked this conversation, and I was not about to let it end. Setting a hoof on it's toe I settled in. He would not get so easily.

Odysseus raised a brow suprisingly at her comment, he knew she was much smarter than assumed before. He grinned, sighing, knowing this time he could not wander around the fact that he must have some sort of conversation.... Since I first set foot upon these lands, after claiming my own land...I became used to coming here, you can see everything... His thoughts drifted towards the lookout as she watched the sun beginning to slowly set at the distance he could never reach. There is no place to roam but here and my land, which is currently un-occupied at the moment... The lusiano sighed, keeping his focus on the fae in front of him. Oh what a strange yet beautiful creautre she was...

I listened as he spoke, his voice seemed distant to me. I followed his gaze to the horizon, watching as they sparkled as he caught sight of something. Shaking my head and speaking meekly I told him. [Donc interminable est la mer de désir. It tis what my grandam used to say. So endless is the sea of desire. You are not content to stay grounded? Please tell me of your lands, I would like to learn of your surroundings, they tell me who you are. Catching his gaze once more I tried to see his sould. His orbs kept him hidden. He was lucky, mine expressed everyounce of emotion I have ever felt. I was a spoiled princesse, trained all my life to be perfect. It helps in situations, but I shall always be like this. The perfect doll for those who want me.

Your grandmother was a wise woman, was she not? He looked upon her, thoughts spinning as she asked him her questions. He spoke slowly, My land is hidden by those who do not look hard enough...it teaches the wanderer to look deeply into something to see the more simpler things...instead of just walking along and finding a grand place...such as a beach or a mountainside. Odysseus would leave his description at that, not wanting to give off the idea of him being boastful, for his lands were simple yet elegant in his eyes. He glanced at her, Why is one so curious? It was a simply splendid question, perhaps now she would admit that she was looking for some innocent stallion to seduce for a one night romance. Oh no..he would not fall for such trickery. His eyes narrowed slightly, waiting for her response eagerly...

So vague he was. I would fathom that later. For now he seemed suspicious of me suddenly. Raising a brow I questioned. Why are you looking at me so? It is odd. Looking away for an instant I turned back. It was a different sort of feeling, she had to say. Thinking of my words carefully I spoke once more. Simplement demander, simply wondering. You do not have to be so suspicious of me Curieux. I am sinply polite, nothing more. Indignant I snorted, bringing my head up and standing tall. I had been taught to read body language, perfect for getting a mate. As if that was all I could do with myself. I knew all there was to know about horse behavior, and right no he was saying I was a Menteur, a liar.
